I am a worship drummer and I am looking for a way to get more involved with ministry and teaching the drums. I have a good friend who is a chapter leader for Drummers for Jesus. Previously I have been an active member of DFJ. Also I purchased the “Drum Grooves for Worship” DVD by Carl Albrecht. I have a student who is working towards being a worship drummer and we are working with the DVD as part of his curriculum. I’m looking forward to Carl’s new book. He is a great role model for me and I have learned a lot from him on what being a worship drummer really means.
I am also playing in a Christian rock band called “Just a Few Frogs.” I am very serious about playing music for God. However I always keep things in perspective and remember who I play for. Also I work hard to maintain balance in my life and not let music take away from time with my precious family.
I’m looking forward to hooking with some fellow worship drummers. I’ll be sure to spread the word.
