GIVEAWAY: 5 6-Packs of Pro-Mark Drumsticks Valued At $93 Each

[This giveaway is part of a series in The Most Awesomest Christmas Giveaways for WorshipDrummers]

To those who already subscribed to our WorshipDrummer E-Newsletter, I dropped this giveaway announcement this morning along with some huge clues as to the other remaining December giveaways.   Don’t miss out. It only takes 10 seconds to subscribe!

For the last 10 years I have been extremely happy with my Pro-Mark drumsticks. They are extremely durable, perform to the task, and offer the exact match and balance that I am looking for in a pair of drumsticks.

Here’s an Instagram picture I took last week as we were rehearsing for our Christmas production.

As you can see, I use the Carter Beauford 5AB sticks. But we all know you are not here to find out what sticks I use. You’re all here so you can win some kick-butt sticks!

First off, I want to say a huge special “Thank You” to my friends at Pro-Mark for their generosity. For this giveaway 5 winners will win a brick of Pro-Mark Sticks (6 pairs) of your choice, valued at $93!

Eligibility: This giveaway is open to anyone (preferably drummers), anywhere where Pro-Mark ships to!

Complete every step for the most possible entries. Winners will be announced on Wed. Dec 14. In the mean time, be sure to scout out their website and maybe even pick up a pair of extra sticks for your Holiday playing. You won’t regret it!

WINNERS

Alex Poole
Angel Wendt
Vahon Ayvazyan
Meghan Chavez
Ram Pajarillaga

Congrats to all our winners and thank you to all who participated! I have sent emails to the winners with further instructions.

  • Timothy Kolker says:

I’m currently using ProMarks myself. I like to be resourceful, so I recycle my old sticks sometimes, and some of them have ended up as a grand prix (pine wood derby type thing) car.

  • Paul Fowler says:

I use the thinest sticks i can find. When I was a teen, I used what were called “pencil sticks”; no clue who actually made them!

  • Edward Wirth says:

I prefer 7A’s Well grained ones that don’t splinter so easily. Sometimes I can look and look and only find 1 out of about 30. I do go 5A on occasion.

  • Chris Gordon says:

I use a mixture of Vic Firth and Pro Mark sticks depending on the Gig…Funniest story was when I was drumming the first time in a church music ministry…The stick broke and flew into the congregation. The pastor picked it up and brought it back to me..

  • Chancely Stater says:

    i prefer to use either a Promark 747, or a Promark 2b.

  • Phillip Rhodes says:

Ashamed to say but it has been a long time since I used Pro Mark. I have been using Vic Firth 5A’s and 7A’s. However I would love to try some new Pro Marks !

  • Josh says:

Right now my main go-to drumsticks are the Vic Firth 5AN’s. I would love to give the Pro Marks a run.

  • Chris Dowswell says:

I’m on a ridiculously tight budget, so I’m using bulk packs of “no-name” sticks. Hook a brotha up.
I once had a stick snap and the piece pegged me square in the forehead! Nice.

  • Rob B says:

I use 747’s or 5B’s depending on which song we are doing. Love my Pro Mark sticks!!!

  • Olly Paisey says:

i use vic firth 85a at the moment but i do like zildjians too the best breakage i have had is when the tip of the stick has broken and it bounced back and hit me in the face

  • Tom says:

Lately using Los Cabos Red Hickories…long ago, mostly Firth.
The most hilarious story I have about broken sticks is that I’ve never broken one, not in the forty years I’ve been playing! Maybe that’s why they call it Cool Jazz.

  • Zack says:

I have been using various Pro-mark drum sticks for the past few years. One time a friend and I bought a cheap back of “Stick Brick” sticks. After playing with them for only a short time and breaking several we said simultaneously, “Stick Brick’s? More like Stick Breaks!”

  • Janice Golden says:

My sonisgetting a drumset for christmas

  • kirk lund says:

    I use your brandPro mark

  • Oliver says:

i use some zildjin sticks that have the foam in them. but the funniest story i got is when i had a pair of huge vic firth sticks. i was drumming and i somehow managed to let go of both sticks. one of the sticks was already close to breaking, had hit the fan and the door before hitting the cement ground, and the other stick broke. not the one that should’ve broken, the one that was perfectly fine broke. just my luck, huh?

  • Dan Gross says:

Like Paul I used to like to play with thinnest sticks possible and ended up with Regal Tip “combo” sticks. Now I’ll play with 7A or 5A. I’m back to being a “wood tip” guy and the combos only come in nylon.

I tend to go Regal Tip’s way as they are a “local” company but I have Pro Marks and Firths in my stick bag as well.

Love the Regal Tip John Beck signatures for snare work (when I’m playing in concert band or symphony). It’s a Beck stick that broke on me in the weirdest way: the tip actually fit back into the shoulder: http://twitpic.com/29knyn

  • Kelsey Stater says:

    my husband usually uses 2b’s.

  • Sandy says:

Started off as my b/f’s drum tech 25 yrs ago. I got tired of setting up for him, so I started playing.
I don’t play in public, just jam with friends, They get a kick out of a chick drummer…I got a 12 piece set of chrome pearls, cuz they’re shiny 🙂
I need some sticks because my are worn, so I’m in dire need of some! Thanks 😉

  • fabricio figueroa says:

I use 5B sticks and 5A for diferents aplications on drums or percusions

  • Ryan says:

I prefer Promark 5a’s but I’m playing with some Promark FunkBats or my girlfriends 7a’s. I use to prefer the plastic tipped ones but I love the way wood sounds on my heads
Probably the worst day I had with breaking sticks was when I was learning to cover a song and broke 3 pairs of sticks that day. 1 pair of Promark 5a’s, pair of Vic Firth 5a’s, and Ringo Starr Promark sticks.

  • Nicolas Kauffmann says:

Zildjian Dave Grohl Artist Series Drumstick or Promark 5a’s

  • Mike De Lucia says:

I don’t use drumsticks right now… except chicken legs, I like those. If I win these, they’ll go to my little boy, who has expressed a strong desire to learn the drums.

  • Joshua DeJong says:

I use Vater 5A Los Angeles style sticks.

  • I’m currently in the habit of using Vic Firth 5a’s and 5b’s, depending on the application. I use Pro Mark Thunder Rods, and Pro Mark Hot Rods mainly at church.

  • Stanton Hancock says:

I switch things up but lately I’ve been using 747’s

  • Shawn Stover says:

I use Pro Mark sticks. Unfortunately, I don’t have any funny stories. However, this would be awesome to win!!! Thank you for the opportunity 🙂

  • Allison says:

I use Pro-Mark 5As usually, but it really depends on what kind of music I’m playing!

  • I have a pair of ProMark 5a’s. My funniest story is when I was absentmindedly drumming my desk in a college computer lab. There was a professor’s presentation and discussion going on so no one could hear it. At the same time the room went silent, I broke a stick at the tip and it rolled all the way to the professor’s boots. I had to make the walk of shame up to the front of the room to retrieve it.

  • Joel says:

Never used those before .. I’m excited for the giveaway!!

  • Keith says:

I’ve been using the Promark Carter Beauford sticks for awhile now and love them. I’ve tried various Vic Firths and Zildjians too but so far the ProMarks are my fav.

  • tamara says:

We have an excellent drummer at our church that would love to get these!!!!

  • Alex says:

I play Pro-Mark 5a sticks exclusively. No other companies compare to the sheer quality and consistency that Pro-Mark can safely write home to their mothers about without being too smug. One funny story I had with Pro-Mark sticks is, I was auditioning for a band in Christchurch, New Zealand and I kept on dropping the sticks I was so nervous. As I started the song, the second I hit the crash and kick the earth began to shake and the richter scale mesured a 5.1 magnitude earthquake. The band hired me the next day so I wouldn’t cause more earthquakes. Pro-Mark Sticks RULE!!!

  • mike says:

Would love to try some Pro-Mark sticks. Thanks much for the shot, Jon!

  • Would love to win these wonderful sticks for my son! Thanks for the chance. Rita

  • chris says:

I use pro-mark and i love it, problem is the availability here in our country… 🙁

  • Kathryn Mackey says:

Love to win this for my son who is in a band.

  • kurt kidder says:

this would make a nice gift for Christmas
